First Post (bet I’m not the only one to have said that)

Paris on Mummy's tummy best#My lovely agility pals have spent the weekend at the Hare & Hounds Easter Show in Yorkshire.  I haven’t talked to them yet, but I’m sure they’ve had a wonderful time and that they’ve won some prizes.

I stayed home to work on my web presence.  And here I am!

I’ve done okay, but I haven’t cut the lawn.  Well, nipped the heads of the dandelions, I’ve done that.

I’ve done really well.  I’ve sorted two facebook pages, added student resources and videos to www.posipets.co.uk.  Made and posted my first youtube video.  And I’ve been here for the first time since I opened my WordPress account back when?  I’m gonna guess 2009, but if I find out properly, I’ll let you know.

Have I had any dog thoughts?  Yes, I have.  My little Papillon boy Paris, he’s going on 12 years old, but you’d never guess, has had two serious knee operations within the last year.  Last one about 3 weeks ago, but you’d never guess.  One of the things I’ve got to do with him for his physio is to walk him really slowly to get him to put the sorry leg down on the ground.  So, I’ve been walking slowly.  And I’m surprised what good exercise that is for all of us, me, my younger dog, and the pap – he’s called Paris by the way.

My usual way of walking dogs is at full tilt, burning rubber, but I think I’m gonna change that now.  You’re still moving if you’re moving slowly, and it exercises your legs in a regular fashion.  Slow walking, relaxed.  More of that.
